Conference transport in Lyon: groups and shuttle runs

You send us the programme: how many delegates, where they arrive, when the plenary starts, which hotels. We come back with a shuttle plan and the number of vehicles it takes, then the price, given on request and agreed before departure. An urgent request is set up in under an hour.

On the day, the chauffeurs are in place ahead of time at every pick-up point. Flights are tracked: the pick-up moves with the actual landing, and waiting is included for up to one hour at the airport, counted from the scheduled landing time, and thirty minutes at a station or a hotel. Between two runs the vehicles stay on site. You call the same number to bring a departure forward or add a shuttle, and the change goes through without a new booking.

A congress at the Cité internationale, a trade fair at Eurexpo, a board meeting held over two days in an estate in the Monts d’Or: the needs look alike, only the scale changes. When the whole group travels as one, the fifteen-seat Sprinter VIP is enough on its own, with an extra seat for the organiser or the guide.

When delegates arrive in waves, several V-Class vehicles run in parallel between the station, the airport and the hotel, seven passengers each. For a speaker expected on their own, the S-Class or the E-Class collects them separately. We cover all of France and Italy departing from the region, and Grenoble and Chambéry airports are served on request. Allow one piece of luggage per person when sizing the number of vehicles.

The Sprinter VIP is built for working on the road. VIP seats, individual reading lights, a lounge with a work area, a USB socket at every seat, and a hold for twelve large suitcases. A group can prepare a presentation between the airport and the city centre rather than rehearse it in the hotel lobby. Wi-Fi and a bottle of water are on board in each of the nine vehicles.

The chauffeurs wear suits, speak French and English, and have accompanied business travel for almost thirty years. They arrive, they drive, they keep quiet: what is said on board stays there.
