Private chauffeur from Lyon to Méribel, right to your door

From central Lyon, allow 193 km and two hours twenty: motorway, then the Tarentaise valley and the climb up to Méribel. From Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport the distance is 179 km and the drive two hours five. Pick-up is at the terminal, timed on your actual landing, with one hour of waiting included counted from the scheduled landing time.

By train, the access station is Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-les-Bains. From there, 17 km and twenty-five minutes of road remain to the resort. The chauffeur waits on the platform or outside the station, thirty minutes included, and takes the luggage. That last stretch decides the arrival time, especially late in the morning: we leave Lyon at the time it requires rather than the time that suits a schedule.

One piece of luggage per person, plus the skis. The V-Class takes seven passengers, the Sprinter VIP fifteen seats and one guide seat. For a family, child seats are fitted before departure — just tell us the ages. For a group, several vehicles leave together from the same address and reach the resort together.

Méribel or Méribel-Mottaret: the road is not the same, so the address matters — a chalet in Méribel-Village, a residence at La Chaudanne, a hotel higher up on the Mottaret road. Tell us where you are staying and the chauffeur takes you there. Night arrivals are no trouble, your contact stays reachable around the clock. On changeover Saturdays the Tarentaise fills up, so we bring the departure from Lyon forward, with no weekend surcharge.

Winter sets the conditions: snow on the climb up from Moûtiers, proper equipment, and a margin on the schedule rather than a gamble. The vehicles are prepared for the mountain and the chauffeur checks the state of the road before setting off. In summer Méribel lives differently — the trails, the Tarentaise passes, the lake — and the drive is easier, but the method does not change.

On the way back we leave the resort at the time your flight requires, not the time that feels reasonable from the chalet. Allow two hours five to Lyon-Saint-Exupéry, two hours twenty to central Lyon or Part-Dieu station, and a margin on top if the valley is busy. We agree the pick-up time together, and the chauffeur is at the door before it.
